ROBERT H. GRIFFIN - CPA
Audit Partner

Robert has been a partner in our California practice since 1997. He oversees our local government practice and serves as the firm's quality control partner. Robert's practice also includes litigation support and consulting services centered in the construction industry. He serves local governments including cities, redevelopment agencies, special districts and retirement systems providing both assurance and advisory services. Robert's expertise includes service delivery to contractors in the construction industry and frequently lectures on construction accounting issues.

Robert has over twenty years experience in accounting and finance including senior financial management positions. He previously served with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Ford Financial Services, a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company, and Atkinson Construction, an international construction firm. Robert has served on the San Mateo Union High School District School Board for over ten years and is active in community affairs.

Robert is a licensed CPA in California and the District of Columbia. He graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. Robert is a member of the AICPA, the California Society of CPAs, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the National Association of Black Accountants. Robert has served on the GFOA's Special Review Committee for Excellence in Financial Reporting for five years.
