MICHAEL A. STEELE - CPA
Tax Partner

Michael is the partner-in-charge of tax services in the California Practice Group. Michael provides tax compliance services and assists with various consulting, tax planning, accounting services and IRS examinations for small businesses, trusts and estates, and individuals. He also works with a number of active and retired professional athletes.

Prior to joining Williams, Adley & Company, LLP, Michael had a combined ten years of experience with the international accounting firm KPMG and the Internal Revenue Service. Michael earned a Masters of Science degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (concentration in Accounting) from California State University, Sacramento. He is licensed in California as a Certified Public Accountant, Life and Health Insurance Agent, and Mortgage Broker.

Michael's professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). He was selected as Outstanding Member of the NABA Division of Firms in 2006, nominated as one of the 30 Most Influential African-Americans in 2004 and has served on the prestigious Group of 100 committee for the AICPA.
