KOLA A. ISIAQ - MBA, CPA, CISA
Managing Partner - Washington, DC Office

Kola is the managing partner of the Washington, DC Office. Kola specializes in providing financial management, auditing, and information technology services to federal agencies. He is a recognized leader in the federal financial management arena and has significant knowledge of federal financial management legislation and standards.

Kola's professional career spans corporate, governmental, and public accounting. He began his career in 1985, as a corporate accountant and rose to senior financial executive positions. In 1989, Kola was the Legislative Performance Auditor for the State of Tennessee. He joined Williams, Adley & Company in 1992, and was admitted to the partnership in 1997. During his twenty-year career, Kola has briefed senior corporate and government officials on financial matters during oversight hearings, presentations, and training.

Kola obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Alabama A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from Tennessee State University. He is also a graduate of Harvard University's Executive Leadership Training Program. Kola is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the District of Columbia and a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and his accomplishments within the federal arena earned him a three-year appointment to the Institute's subcommittee on Federal Auditing and Accounting Standards. He currently serves as a member of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs' Federal Issues and Standards Committee. Kola is also a member of the Association of Government Accountants, Information Systems and Controls Association, and the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). In 2006, he was awarded NABA's prestigious Division of Firms' Member of the Year award.
