Audit Partner

Charbet is the audit and assurance partner in the Washington Office's Federal Practice Group. Her practice includes services to Federal government agencies and nonprofit organizations for which she provides financial, performance, and compliance audits, agreed-upon procedures engagements, financial statement preparation, federal financial management training, and audit assistance. She is also responsible for staff development and training in the Washington office.

Charbet graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Virginia and participates as member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Government Accountants, National Association of Female Executives, and the National Association of Black Accountants.

Prior to joining Williams, Adley & Company in 1991, Charbet served as senior accountant with Ernst & Young. Charbet is actively involved in civic pursuits that support the empowerment of women and youth, that assist those looking to excel, and through membership in the National Council of Negro Women, the American Association of University Women, the Asbury Broadneck United Methodist Church, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
